In Barcamp Pune 5, we had our first twitter meet up, where we compiled a list ofย twitter users. During that I thought, we also need to have a list of most active tech people in Pune, who also actively use twitter.
So if you want to keep an eye on Pune technology scene, then following these people on twitter is a must
- Navin Kabra @ngkabra
- Dhananjay Nene @dnene
- Rohit Srivastwa @rohit11
- Rohan Dighe @irohan
- Priyank Kapadia @whereispriyank
- Shardul Mohite @shardulmohite
Apart from them you may also want to follow me ( @thecancerus ) as well ๐
I know this list is incomplete as I have a very narrow technology vision, so if you follow someone who plays an active role in Pune and is not on the list then leave a comment along with your own twitter id.
PS: if you have no idea about importance of twitter, then you should check out ‘Why you should be on Twitter – and how best to use it’ by Navin.
Thanks for including me (@ngkabra) in the list. However, I should point out that I use that account for anything that I find interesting, and often it can be non-technology. I use @punetech to tweet about things related to technology in Pune (and in most cases, will not tweet about the same thing in @ngkabra). I guess what I am telling people is to please follow @punetech too. ๐
Well I was already following Rohit, Rohan and Navin. I have started following the other 3 and you.
Apart from me(http://twitter.com/raseel) I wonder who all are into open source (dare I imagine Embedded Linux ?)
@raseel all of them are in open source, and I have an small(8 bits) interest in embedded ๐
Thanks for adding me Amit. I agree with @ngkabra, follow @punetech, the best source of technology news in Pune
I knew rest of the people, time to know @shardulmohite ๐
Oops, he was following me and I was not . my bad ๐ฎ
Thanks amit for (@shardulmohite) adding me in list.. with @ngkabra and @rohit11, @irohan and you.. … Its kind of Honor… thanks..
And yes.. i do contribute to open source.. (but not embedded though.. as i am all for Web Apps..)
Thanks for the list.I am now following all of you including the cancerus. I am reading your blog from last few days and I really enjoy reading and knowing more of you people here.
For some more open source (GNU/Linux) people check out sankarshanm, runa_b.
